What is Simmer Down?

Simmer Down is a brand born and designed in Pōneke/Wellington, New Zealand, in 2023.

I created Simmer Down with the dream of it becoming more than just a clothing brand I wanted it to become the heart of a community. A community that brings people together, uplifts local talent, and shows off what this beautiful country has to offer, one doof at a time.

The best part? All of our doofs are free. The money that helps fund these events comes from the clothes you buy. So when you support Simmer Down, you’re not just buying a piece of clothing you’re helping fund the next stage, sound system, lights, DJs and experience for the community.
